What is Jazz à Vienne?
Jazz à Vienne takes place every year from late June to mid-July; the 2026 edition ran from 25 June to 11 July. The headline nights are held in the Roman theatre, built in the 1st century, while other stages such as Le Club and the Jardin de Cybèle bring music to the rest of the city.

How do I get there by train from Villa 61?
Saint-Clair–Les Roches station, about a 4-minute walk from Villa 61, has direct TER trains to Vienne: the journey takes 9 minutes on average, according to SNCF Connect. From Vienne station, the Roman theatre is a walk through the town centre.
In 2026, the festival’s special late trains left Vienne between 00:29 and 2:00 depending on the night, but only towards Chasse-sur-Rhône and Lyon Part-Dieu: they did not serve Saint-Clair–Les Roches.
How do I get there by car?
Vienne is about 12 km from Villa 61. During the festival, free park-and-ride car parks are served by shuttle buses. Coming from Villa 61, south of the city, the closest is the South park-and-ride at the Jean Etcheberry stadium on boulevard Pacatianus; its shuttle runs to Place du Jeu de Paume, a 10-minute walk from the Roman theatre.
In 2026, shuttles ran every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on Saturdays, with return trips for one hour after the end of the concerts. Check the current arrangements on the festival website.
Getting back to Villa 61 after a concert
Evenings at the Roman theatre finish late. Villa 61 is currently not accessible between 11 pm and 6 am, so check the access hours for your dates before booking an evening show.
During the day, the free concerts at the Jardin de Cybèle, from noon, fit easily with a return to Villa 61 before 11 pm.
